Kuruva island is situated at the sangamam (amalgamation) of two tributaries of Kabani River, Panamaram Puzha and Mananthavady Puzha.

This 950 acres vast island is abundantly rich with variety flora and fauna, a magnificent picnic spot in Wayanad.
