There were no plans to move out of home in this weekend. 8th morning all on a sudden we decided to move to Madhoor to see the flower fields. We started at 11 am. The morning sky was cloudy and it was rainy. We thought we could enjoy the rain in the trip. But the day became pleasant and
sunny. Our jaunt was also pleasant like the sky. All through the way we could see the hills and paddy fields just relieved from the torrents.
The way through Bandipur wildlife sanctuary was amazing with all sorts of anxiety to see a herd of elephants or to watch a herd of deer. As we were looking out eagerly we saw a group of people staring into the deep forest. We also stopped our car and searched for what they were looking into. Suddenly we got that awaiting sight.
There were almost twelve deer looking at us. That was a pleasant sight. We could not take a snap just because there were so many hindrances before us to stop us getting a clear picture.
We were lucky enough to see a herd of elephants also. There were five elephants. Among them two were calves. Tina was excited to see the giant male elephant with huge tusk.
There were a lot of monkeys sitting along the road sides. They were waiting for the tit bits from the travelers. We felt it is a wrong habit to feed the monkeys on the road. By doing that we are actually doing wrong to our nature. The nature has already provided them with various kinds of food items to prevent and protect them. We saw a monkey who has lost its both the hands. Perhaps it had happened while he was trying to reach the traveler's tit bits.
Tina wanted to stop in the forest to play but the boards along the roadside prevented us from stopping the car. We read the board for her:’ NO PARKING, NO PICNIC, NO HORN’.
After a wonderful drive of one hour we reached the flower fields. The sight was amazing and we enjoyed the scene and took a lot of snaps.
Then we decided to drive into a narrow road.
When we spotted a large pond with lotus Tina and Jis jumped out of the car.
